Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional research teams in quantum error correction and qubit stability
- Develop roadmaps for quantum advantage in logistics, drug discovery, and AI
- Secure patents and publish in Nature/Science journals
- Partner with government agencies on quantum security standards
- Mentor PhD researchers and university interns
- Secure $5M+ in government/industry grants annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Published work in quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error correction
- Track record of securing government research grants
- Strong knowledge of NIS2 and quantum encryption standards
- Experience leading technical teams of 10+ researchers
