Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Design and implement error-correction protocols for scalable quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum processors at 10+ qubit coherence
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Secure $5M+ in government and private funding for quantum initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Develop commercial applications for quantum advantage in logistics and drug discovery
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Demonstrated experience with cryogenic quantum systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
