Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for fault-tolerant systems targeting 2026 deployment milestones
- Design and implement novel quantum error correction protocols for 1000+ qubit architectures
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum gate operations and coherence times
- Publish high-impact research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Manage cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and computer scientists
- Secure and manage $5M+ in research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Develop quantum software frameworks compatible with emerging cloud platforms
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum hardware
