Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Develop error correction protocols to enhance quantum system stability and scalability
- Lead experimental validation of quantum computing architectures using superconducting and photonic platforms
- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to co-design quantum processors with improved qubit coherence
- Publish research in leading scientific journals and present findings at international conferences
- Secure external funding through government grants and industry partnerships
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum computing education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong publication record in quantum information science or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in high-performance computing and parallel programming (Python, C++, CUDA)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
