Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum protocols using state-of-the-art superconducting and photonic systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and error mitigation frameworks
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present at international quantum conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
- Develop intellectual property portfolios with commercialization potential
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design and quantum circuit optimization
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Publication record in Nature/Science/Physical Review journals or equivalent
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or photonic quantum processors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with cross-cultural collaboration experience
