Responsibilities
- Lead breakthrough research in quantum algorithms and error correction protocols
- Design and implement scalable quantum systems using superconducting qubits
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum machine learning models
- Secure multi-million dollar research grants through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and publish in Nature/Science journals
- Develop patentable quantum cryptography solutions for enterprise clients
- Present findings at global quantum summits (Q2B, IEEE Quantum Week)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing experience with Qiskit/Cirq
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, PRL) or conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
- Demonstrated success securing government or industry research funding
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware systems
