Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance, logistics, and AI
- Conduct experimental research on quantum hardware systems and error correction methods
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize quantum circuit designs
- Develop mathematical models to predict quantum system behavior under various conditions
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating quantum solutions with classical computing frameworks
- Publish findings in leading scientific journals and present at international conferences
- Stay current with emerging quantum technologies and industry developments
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing specialization
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum information theory
- Strong mathematical background in linear algebra, probability, and statistical mechanics
- Proven track record of developing quantum algorithms or error correction protocols
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex concepts
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals preferred
