Responsibilities
- Develop and implement novel quantum error correction protocols for NISQ-era processors
- Lead experimental validation of quantum algorithms on real hardware

- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Secure $2M+ in NSF/DARPA grants for quantum research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq) or quantum simulation frameworks
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Expertise in linear algebra and probability theory at graduate level
- Familiarity with cryogenic quantum systems or superconducting qubits
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts to experimental implementations
