Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications
- Lead quantum error correction research to achieve fault-tolerant computing systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times and gate fidelity
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for enterprise-scale problem-solving
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers and secure $5M+ in quantum computing grants
- Partner with NASA, Google AI, and MIT on cross-industry quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years quantum research
- Expertise in quantum circuit design, Qiskit/Cirq frameworks, and IBM/Quantum Experience
- Published work in quantum machine learning or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum simulation tools (Q#, Quil)
