Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in machine learning and data analysis
- Conduct experimental research on quantum error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise solutions
- Publish high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at international conferences
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate theoretical models into deployable quantum software
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum computing education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing focus
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum information theory
- Strong mathematical background in linear algebra, probability, and statistical mechanics
- Proven track record of publishing quantum computing research in top-tier journals
- Experience with NISQ-era quantum hardware and quantum simulation platforms
