Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize quantum algorithms for machine learning and cryptography applications
- Design error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to co-design quantum processor architectures
- Secure research partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent novel quantum methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Demonstrated understanding of quantum entanglement and superposition principles
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to solve complex optimization problems
