Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for scalable quantum processors
- Develop novel qubit stabilization techniques using machine learning frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Publish research in Nature Physics/Science and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate theoretical models with experimental setups
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants through NSF and DARPA proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum circuit simulation tools (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier journals on quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
- Deep understanding of topological quantum computing models
- Experience securing government research grants (DARPA/NSF preferred)
- Strong track record of patent applications in quantum technologies
