Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization and simulation problems
- Design and execute quantum circuit architectures on superconducting platforms
- Collaborate with hardware teams to mitigate decoherence and improve qubit fidelity
- Lead research publications in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation initiatives
- Secure competitive research funding through government and private partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing or physics journals
- Experience with low-level quantum hardware control systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
