Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating quantum theory into practical solutions
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Develop error-correction methodologies for scalable quantum systems
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate quantum solutions into client workflows
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing experience with superconducting or photonic systems
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design and complexity theory
- Strong publication record in quantum information science
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Quil)
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding from NSF or DARPA
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel processing
