Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in 2026+ industrial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams to bridge theoretical quantum mechanics with practical engineering solutions
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with AI researchers to integrate quantum machine learning frameworks
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Secure and manage quantum computing research grants from federal and private institutions
- Mentor junior scientists in quantum information theory and experimental physics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of research experience
- Proven track record in quantum algorithm development or quantum error correction
- Expertise in at least one quantum computing platform (e.g., IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
