What You'll Accomplish: Design scalable quantum circuits, simulate complex molecular interactions, and contribute to patent-pending quantum protocols. Work alongside Nobel laureates and collaborate with MIT, Stanford, and ETH Zurich on our Quantum Horizon Initiative.
Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental quantum computing projects using superconducting qubit platforms
- Author peer-reviewed publications and contribute to open-source quantum frameworks
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum error correction techniques
- Secure $2M+ in federal research grants for 2026 quantum initiatives
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-classical hybrid systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development with IBM Q or Google Quantum AI
- Publication record in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Quil)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience securing SBIR/STTR grants for quantum research
- Clearance for DoD quantum security projects (or ability to obtain)
