Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Publish research in leading journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation in quantum error correction
- Secure funding through NSF and DARPA grant proposals
- Develop patentable quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published work in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Expertise in cryogenic quantum systems and superconducting qubits
- Demonstrated ability to secure competitive research grants
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
