As a Quantum Computing Researcher, you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates and industry disruptors to develop novel quantum algorithms, optimize qubit stability, and design fault-tolerant architectures. You'll work in state-of-the-art labs funded by $500M+ in venture capital, with access to IBM Quantum and D-Wave systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for scalable quantum processors
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to improve qubit coherence times
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing fundamentals
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum information science or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Experience with high-performance computing environments
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
