Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in machine learning and optimization
- Develop error-correction protocols to enhance qubit stability and computational fidelity
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum processors with 100+ qubit coherence
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives targeting quantum advantage in pharmaceutical discovery
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and secure federal/private research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency with high-performance computing environments and parallel processing frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical models into experimental prototypes
