Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical industrial applications
- Lead prototyping of fault-tolerant quantum processors using superconducting circuits
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks for enterprise clients
- Author breakthrough research papers for Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Mentor PhD researchers and cross-functional innovation teams
- Secure federal and private research grants for quantum initiatives
- Advise Fortune 500 companies on quantum adoption roadmaps
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (required)
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences (e.g., QIP)
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction protocols
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum control hardware
- Track record of translating theoretical research into commercial IP
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
