Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to prototype quantum solutions for finance, healthcare, and logistics sectors
- Publish groundbreaking research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to advance fault-tolerant computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum software for next-generation processors
- Secure research grants and partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to our quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks (Quil, ProjectQ) and cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Track record of securing research funding (NSF, DARPA, or equivalent)
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for complex computational challenges
- Ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical applications
