Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error correction protocols for scalable quantum systems
- Collaborate on cryogenic quantum hardware research and testing
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present at international conferences
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating quantum theory into practical applications
- Secure research grants and partnerships with leading tech institutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, error correction, or quantum hardware
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or physics journals
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
