Responsibilities

- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop scalable quantum processors operating at 100+ qubits
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Secure patents for quantum computing methodologies and intellectual property
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years of research experience
- Published record in top-tier quantum computing or condensed matter physics journals
- Expertise in quantum circuit design, error mitigation techniques, and quantum simulation
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit systems or topological quantum computing
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal research grants (NSF/DOE preferred)
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters and parallel processing
