Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring they feel welcomed immediately.
- Present menus, answer detailed questions about menu items, and make food and beverage recommendations.
- Take accurate food and drink orders via POS system and relay them to the kitchen staff efficiently.
- Prepare tables, set up stations, and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the dining room and service area.
- Upsell specials and beverages to increase revenue while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit transactions with integrity.
- Address guest concerns or complaints immediately and escalate to management when necessary to ensure a resolution.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of previous experience as a Server in a high-volume restaurant is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
