As a pioneer in the 2D web development space, we are obsessed with performance, precision, and pixel-perfect interactivity. You will be responsible for building the visual core of our platform, pushing the limits of what is possible in the browser without plugins.
If you have a deep understanding of rendering engines, animation physics, and a keen eye for design, we want you to help us shape the future of digital interaction.
What You Will Do
- Develop and optimize high-performance 2D rendering engines using HTML5 Canvas, WebGL, and SVG.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex data into intuitive, animated visualizations.
- Implement advanced animation techniques and physics simulations for fluid user experiences.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize asset loading for maximum speed.
- Mentor junior developers and establish best practices for code quality and performance.
Responsibilities
- Architect scalable 2D graphics solutions that run smoothly on high-resolution displays.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Integrate 2D graphics libraries (e.g., PixiJS, Phaser, Three.js) into our existing React and Vue applications.
- Debug and resolve complex rendering issues and visual artifacts.
- Conduct technical research to evaluate new rendering technologies and frameworks.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in web development with a specific focus on 2D graphics and animations.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and modern CSS.
- Deep knowledge of the HTML5 Canvas API and WebGL (GLSL) concepts.
- Experience with animation libraries (GSAP, Anime.js) and physics engines.
- Experience with responsive design principles and mobile performance optimization.
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
