Your Impact
You will be responsible for architecting scalable rendering systems, optimizing for 60fps animations, and mentoring junior developers to maintain high code quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance 2D rendering engines using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL.
- Optimize existing graphics code to ensure smooth 60fps performance across all devices and browsers.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate complex visual concepts into pixel-perfect, interactive code.
- Build reusable 2D utility libraries and frameworks to speed up development velocity for the wider team.
- Debug complex rendering issues and implement cross-browser compatibility solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to the engineering team.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development with a focus on 2D graphics.
- Deep expertise in the Canvas API, SVG manipulation, and requestAnimationFrame.
- Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Experience with performance profiling and memory management in web environments.
- Experience with WebGL or a 3D library (Three.js, Pixi.js) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
