Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high-performance 2D rendering engines using the Canvas API and WebGL.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into fluid, interactive 2D visuals.
- Optimize rendering performance across diverse devices and browsers to ensure silky smooth 60fps animations.
- Debug complex rendering issues and implement robust error handling and fallback mechanisms.
- Contribute to the technical roadmap, researching emerging 2D graphics libraries and techniques.
- Mentor junior developers and establish best practices for interactive graphics within the team.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development with a specialized focus on 2D graphics.
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and modern CSS (Sass/Less).
- Strong proficiency in 2D graphics libraries (e.g., PixiJS, Phaser, Konva.js, or Three.js for 2D).
- Experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX, or Vuex).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced Agile environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
