Responsibilities
- Architect Rendering Engines: Design and implement high-performance 2D rendering systems using WebGL, Canvas API, and emerging web graphics standards.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize rendering pipelines to ensure 60fps performance across a wide range of devices and browsers.
- Interactive Prototyping: Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate complex design concepts into pixel-perfect, interactive web experiences.
- Code Maintenance: Refactor legacy codebases, implement best practices, and ensure maintainability of our graphics libraries.
- Tech Research: Stay ahead of the curve by researching and integrating new web technologies and graphics APIs.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in 2D web development, specifically with WebGL or Canvas technologies.
- Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Frameworks: Experience with 2D graphics libraries such as Three.js, Pixi.js, or Phaser.
- Mathematics: Strong understanding of linear algebra and vector mathematics used in computer graphics.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex rendering issues and optimize performance bottlenecks.
