Responsibilities
- Lead Research & Development: Spearhead the design and implementation of proprietary large-scale language models and generative AI frameworks.
- System Architecture: Design scalable, fault-tolerant neural architectures capable of processing real-time data streams from edge devices.
- Model Optimization: Engineer efficient inference pipelines using techniques like quantization and distillation to reduce latency in production environments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with hardware engineers and product managers to integrate AI capabilities seamlessly into physical robotics systems.
- Talent Mentorship: Guide and mentor a team of junior data scientists and machine learning engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Technical Strategy: Stay ahead of the curve on emerging AI trends and evaluate new technologies to ensure Horizon 2026 remains at the forefront of innovation.
Qualifications
- Education: MS or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning engineering, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role.
- Core Tech Stack: Deep proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow; experience with C++ for high-performance computing.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Reinforcement Learning.
- System Design: Proven track record of designing distributed systems and cloud-native AI solutions (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
