Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and scenario planning initiatives targeting 2026-2030 technological and societal shifts
- Develop quantitative and qualitative frameworks for assessing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Produce executive-ready strategic briefings and visual trend maps for C-suite stakeholders
- Collaborate with R&D teams to validate future concepts and accelerate innovation pipelines
- Represent the organization at global foresight forums and establish thought leadership
- Mentor junior futurists and build cross-functional innovation networks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business strategy (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling capabilities for executive audiences
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, cross-impact matrices)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation journals
