Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic foresight framework, identifying disruptive trends across tech, climate, and societal shifts
- Lead scenario planning workshops with executive stakeholders to stress-test business resilience
- Author annual 'Future State' reports synthesizing signals from AI, biotech, and space exploration
- Champion innovation labs incubating 2026-ready solutions (e.g., carbon-negative tech, neuro-interfaces)
- Build and mentor a global futurist network to embed foresight across 15+ business units
- Represent Horizon at Davos, TED, and industry summits as a thought leader
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Proven track record translating complex trends into executive-level strategy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Published author or keynote speaker on 2020s disruption themes
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Certification in AI ethics or sustainable development frameworks preferred
