Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology foresight framework through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and threats in AI, biotech, quantum computing, and emerging domains
- Produce executive-ready strategic briefings translating complex futures into business imperatives
- Partner with R&D teams to prioritize future-focused innovation pipelines and R&D investments
- Establish an external network of futurists, academic researchers, and industry pioneers to amplify foresight capabilities
- Design and implement a corporate foresight methodology embedded in strategic planning cycles
- Present visionary narratives to stakeholders, inspiring organizational alignment around future scenarios
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.) and societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills with executive audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field preferred
- Published thought leadership on technology futures or disruption analysis
- Experience scaling foresight practices within large organizations
- Portfolio demonstrating impact from future-strategy implementation
