Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic vision roadmap through rigorous trend analysis and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from AI, biotech, and quantum computing domains
- Produce high-impact foresight reports for executive stakeholders and board members
- Identify emerging risks and opportunities in global markets, providing mitigation strategies
- Build and nurture a network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Translate foresight findings into product innovation pipelines and go-to-market strategies
- Mentor junior futurists and drive foresight literacy across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term strategic frameworks
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurist journals or industry publications
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi technique, causal layered analysis)
- Strong presentation skills with executive audiences
