You'll work directly with C-suite executives to embed foresight into our corporate DNA, ensuring we're not just prepared for tomorrow but actively shaping it.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop quantitative and qualitative frameworks for assessing future market disruptions
- Produce strategic foresight reports and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Chair cross-functional innovation labs connecting R&D, product, and sustainability teams
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and policy think tanks
- Design and implement corporate foresight training programs
- Represent Nexus at global futurism conferences and industry summits
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futures research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial success
- Deep expertise in at least two of these domains: AI ethics, quantum computing, climate tech, or neurotech
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy
- Experience leading global cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Backcasting)
