Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and paradigm shifts affecting 2026+ markets
- Develop and operationalize multi-generational strategic scenarios for board-level decision support
- Architect cross-functional innovation pipelines integrating biotech, quantum computing, and climate solutions
- Present future outlooks to Fortune 500 clients and government agencies through high-stakes keynotes
- Mentor a team of 5 futurists while establishing industry thought leadership via whitepapers and TED-style talks
- Design and deploy AI-powered trend forecasting systems with 85%+ predictive accuracy
- Partner with venture capital arm to identify and acquire emerging startups with 2030 potential
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or Complex Systems (with 12+ years applied experience)
- Proven track record of influencing Fortune 500 strategy with published future scenarios (3+ case studies)
- Expertise in convergent technology domains: synthetic biology, quantum AI, and climate adaptation systems
- Executive-level presentation skills with 50+ keynotes at global innovation forums (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Advanced proficiency in foresight methodologies: Delphi, causal layered analysis, and system dynamics modeling
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of 10+ year strategic roadmaps
- Published author in peer-reviewed foresight journals or major industry publications (HBR, MIT Tech Review)
