Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives identifying disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for board-level decision-making
- Coordinate cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Produce executive foresight reports with quantifiable impact projections
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Mentor junior futurists in trend analysis methodologies
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders quarterly
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking
- Published research or speaking engagements at futurism conferences
- Technical fluency in emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Experience developing long-term roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation implementation
