Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate resilience) to identify high-impact opportunities through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for Fortune 500 clients navigating next-generation disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Author thought leadership publications on future-shaping technologies and societal impacts
- Build proprietary forecasting models using machine learning and qualitative research
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-state solutions in our Austin Innovation Lab
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leader with 50+ industry presentations/publications
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on future strategy
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method) and data visualization
