What you'll do:
You'll lead horizon-scanning initiatives, develop scenario-based forecasts, and translate complex data into actionable strategies. This role demands a blend of analytical rigor and creative foresight to position our clients as industry pioneers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies and societal trends through 2030
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for Fortune 500 clients across AI, biotech, and sustainability sectors
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare organizations for disruptive futures
- Author high-impact trend reports and thought leadership content for executive audiences
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing trend-based strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
