Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological and societal shifts
- Develop actionable innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Facilitate strategic foresight workshops with global stakeholders
- Quantify market disruption risks and opportunities using predictive modeling
- Drive R&D investments in emerging domains (quantum computing, bio-integration, etc.)
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and board committees
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and trend impact analysis
- Deep understanding of emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for translating complex insights into compelling narratives
- Experience with futures forecasting tools (e.g., Trendalyzer, Palisade Decision Tools)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
