Responsibilities
- Analyze and report on disruptive trends in AI, biotech, and climate tech through horizon-scanning methodologies
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 2026 market transformations using predictive modeling
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops with global stakeholders to identify first-mover advantages
- Author forward-looking white papers and executive briefs published in industry journals
- Design strategic roadmaps for clients adopting exponential technologies
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior futurists while establishing new research methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research
- Proven track record of published trend analysis in peer-reviewed journals
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and scenario planning frameworks
- Deep understanding of 2026 technology trajectories (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data visualization skills with proficiency in Tableau/Power BI
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on transformational strategy
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-vision implementations
