Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual 2026+ strategic foresight reports analyzing emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing products and services
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical, climate, and technological disruptions
- Present future trend insights to executive leadership and board members quarterly
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to pioneer next-gen solutions
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal innovation pipeline
- Drive organizational adoption of agile futures-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused product development
- Proven track record of publishing influential trend analysis or scenario-planning frameworks
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, biotech, or climate tech)
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and influencing long-term strategy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation projects launched in the past 5 years
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and futures modeling software
