Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps and scenario-planning frameworks for executive leadership
- Partner with C-suite executives to embed future-focused strategies into organizational DNA
- Drive cross-functional workshops to foster innovation culture and design thinking methodologies
- Author high-impact foresight publications and keynote presentations at global forums
- Manage innovation pipeline from ideation to market validation with $10M+ R&D budget
- Lead a team of 8 futurists and innovation specialists across 3 continents
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies with Fortune 500 exposure
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of translating future insights into billion-dollar business opportunities
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and geopolitical trends
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience delivering executive-level presentations
- Strong network within innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Davos, Singularity University)
- Published thought leader with 50+ articles/whitepapers on future trends
- PMP or similar innovation certification required
