Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive forces through 2030
- Develop and present strategic innovation roadmaps for C-suite executives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with engineering, design, and business teams
- Author thought leadership reports and scenario planning frameworks
- Manage innovation pipeline from ideation to prototyping with 20+ annual projects
- Build and maintain expert network including MIT Media Lab and World Economic Forum
- Mentor junior futurists and establish innovation KPIs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in innovation consulting, R&D, or strategic planning
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial solutions
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and systems thinking
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience with agile/lean innovation frameworks and design thinking
- Excellent presentation skills with executive audience experience
