Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions relevant to 2026
- Develop and publish quarterly trend reports with data-backed forecasts and strategic implications
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership and product teams
- Collaborate with R&D to align innovation pipelines with future market needs
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry experts
- Translate foresight insights into actionable strategic recommendations for product development
- Present findings to stakeholders through compelling narratives and visual storytelling
Qualifications
- 5+ years in foresight, strategy consulting, or innovation roles with proven trend-forecasting impact
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Sociology, Technology Management, or related field
- Expertise in horizon-scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies or societal transformation
- Experience facilitating C-level workshops and translating complex insights
- Deep understanding of AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing trajectories
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic initiatives implemented based on future trends
