Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, sociocultural shifts, and economic indicators to identify disruptive opportunities and threats through 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for board-level decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Quantify future market potential and ROI projections for strategic initiatives
- Mentor junior strategists and champion a culture of anticipatory innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership roles
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into executable business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, MBA, or related field
- Deep knowledge of AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing trajectories
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and public speaking acumen
- Published author in futures research or innovation strategy (preferred)
- Proficiency in foresight tools like Delphi method, STEEP analysis, and trend mapping
