Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional research teams to identify and analyze emerging technologies with disruptive potential through 2030
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate-resilient systems
- Present findings to C-suite executives and government stakeholders with actionable implementation frameworks
- Collaborate with product teams to prototype and validate futuristic solutions in our Innovation Labs
- Establish industry partnerships with leading research institutions and venture capital firms
- Mentor junior futurists and publish thought leadership in top-tier tech publications
- Secure and manage multi-million dollar R&D budgets for experimental projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies with 8+ years of applied research experience
- Proven track record in developing commercial applications for quantum or AI technologies
- Deep expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Published research in Nature, Science, or IEEE journals on emerging tech
- Experience securing government grants (DARPA, NSF) or corporate venture funding
- Strong network within academic research institutions and Silicon Valley innovation circles
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulation platforms
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
