Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future trends into product roadmaps and innovation initiatives
- Produce quarterly trend briefings and annual future-state reports for executive stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to pioneer emerging research
- Design and implement foresight metrics to track future-readiness across the organization
- Represent Nexus at global futurist conferences and industry summits
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership roles
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and societal megatrends
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (white papers, books, journals)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through transformational change initiatives
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPS, APF) preferred
