Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 2026 technology foresight framework through continuous research on emerging trends, disruptive innovations, and geopolitical shifts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify strategic opportunities and risks associated with next-gen technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Create executive-level strategic briefs and scenario-planning models for board-level decision-making
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready technologies into 3-5 year product roadmaps
- Establish and manage relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry thought leaders
- Present future technology landscapes at global conferences and industry summits
- Mentor junior futurists and build a future-focused innovation culture
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic technology planning, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of successfully predicting and implementing disruptive technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Strong executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Published author or speaker at global tech conferences (e.g., CES, Web Summit)
- Portfolio demonstrating technology forecasting accuracy (minimum 3 case studies)
