Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial/residential HVAC systems
- Diagnose complex mechanical/electrical issues with precision
- Perform EPA-certified refrigerant handling and recovery
- Lead junior technicians on service calls and installations
- Ensure compliance with local/state building codes
- Document service reports and inventory usage
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical consultation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of HVAC installation/repair experience
- EPA 608 Certification (Type II or Universal)
- Valid Virginia HVAC Journeyman license
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex systems
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in tight spaces
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
