Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test quantum algorithms and machine learning models using frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane.
- Optimize quantum circuits for specific hardware backends to minimize error rates and maximize computational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into existing classical software architectures.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical roadmap for our quantum infrastructure.
- Research and evaluate emerging quantum hardware and software technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Document code, algorithms, and technical specifications to ensure knowledge transfer and maintainability.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Computing or AI.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years of experience in quantum computing or hybrid quantum-classical systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and CUDA for high-performance computing.
- Experience with quantum programming libraries (Qiskit, PyQuil, or similar).
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics fundamentals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
